THE CHRISTIANS
The original band formed in the mid-80's consisted of Garry Christian (lead vocals), Roger Christian (vocals) Russell Christian (keyboards, saxophone, vocals), and Henry Priestman, born Henry Christian Priestman, (keyboards, guitars, vocals) Roger left in 1987.
There debut album "THE CHRISTIANS" got to number 2 in the UK Album Charts and provided several memorable singles such as "Forgotten Town", "Hooverville" and "Ideal World".
Their second album "COLOUR" surpassed this getting to number 1.
By the mid-Nineties the band had driffted apart and "informally broken up".
Since 2001 the Band has re-formed and started writing again. They have also toured with various line ups, and of course played the Main Stage at last year's Festival.
